Bangkok and The Snake Farm

Right, so here we are, I thought ide put together all the pics and a few vids all in one place rather than scatter them over emails and facebook, so everyone can just come here and see what I got up to. Plus I'll put a little blurb by each set of pics so you get more of an idea of what went down in the land of smiles.

So I flew into Bangkok on the sunday evening with no idea where I was staying or what I wanted to do for the next 7 days. Ide read the lonely planets guide and been online to see what there was to do, but decided to just go random and take each day as it came. So after landing, finding a hotel and dumping my bags and catching the end of the footy on tv, I had a few beers in a bar not too far from the hotel then hit the hay for the day ahead.

Decided to check out the snake farm which wasnt too far from where I was staying and see what it was all about. Ide seen pictures from my friend JJ who'd been before so it had to be done. Below are some pics and a vid of some of the snakes they were bringing out, amazing stuff. Cobra's, King Cobra's (that was a hugely mean SOB ), tree snakes and Pythons.

Then inside the farm they had some pretty cool snake skeletons...

Wow Neil, I thoroughly enjoyed reading your entire blog. You've written it really well, I felt as though I was there too! You've certainly had some amazing experiences and chosen to do some things I never thought possible. The picture of you and the puppy is adorable! And the tiger pictures are astonishing. Particularly the one displaying the huge paws! You look really relaxed and I'm pleased you had such a good time.

Can't wait to see more pics soon.
